The 2026 Annual Bull Sale

Our annual bull sale lands on the Friday the 15th of May for 2026. This will be our 37th annual bull sale and will include a variety of Charolais and Charolais Composite bulls. The sale will be held at Rosedale Farm, in Blayney, NSW.

The sale is an on-farm auction, where our Charolais bulls are presented for purchase. Again this year we are assisted by selling agents, Elders and Bowyer and Livermore, and the auction will be run by Paul Dooley and Nick Fogarty. AuctionsPlus will also be utilised enabling online bidding and viewing.

This year’s Charolais bulls are again dominated by homozygous polled bulls and we are always proud that all of the bulls offered are polled. Last year, on offer there were composite Charolais cross Angus bulls and Charolais cross Shorthorns, and Charolais heifers. All of which sold well.

We are focusing on a type that will produce top tier weight gains but won’t let you down on carcase quality, as we are committed to developing Charolais infused genetics that will suit the modern day Australian cattlemen and cattle women.

We have many people attending the sale, who travel all over the country and interstate. This includes buyers from Queensland, to Victoria and Tasmania. We also have buyers online on AuctionsPlus.

Prior to the sale, the bulls will be semen tested, by a qualified veterinarian, to ensure the sperm’s motility (how well they swim), morphology (the shape and structure) and overall concentration are up to the strict fertility standards.

This means our bulls are in top condition for purchase for the sale. We are proud to announce the draft of bulls in this year’s sale, which is achievable with the strong breeding herd we have built up from the past 50 years. We are proud to see females from our previous sire lines becoming great mothers and stamping their quality into their offspring.

When production is quick and easy, we can focus on producing quality meat and achieving maximum production.

The catalogue for our upcoming sale will be available soon. This will help you get organised for the annual sale and give you the opportunity to get familiar with the bulls that will be available on the day. We have some new sire lines coming through and a large variety of White and Red Factor Charolais bulls in this year’s catalogue.
